Songfacts®:

  • This collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani was penned for the UK children's movie Paddington Bear. Williams said: "What a wonderful opportunity, as a parent, to contribute to something as classic, authentic and generational to all of our lives, as Paddington Bear."
  • The song didn't appear on the British cinematic release but was included in the US version.
  • This is one of several tracks that Stefani's fellow Voice mentor, Pharrell, has produced for the No Doubt singer during her solo career. Other collaborations between the pair include "Hollaback Girl" and "Spark The Fire." Stefani also provided the hook for Williams' 2005 single "Can I Have It Like That."
  • This wasn't Pharrell first contribution to a family-friendly film. He also composed the score for Despicable Me 2, which included the hit single "Happy" and as one third of N.E.R.D recorded the song "Squeeze Me" for the soundtrack of The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
