Songfacts®:

  • Heffron Drive was formed by vocalist Kendall Schmidt and guitarist Dustin Belt in 2008 after the pair met each other by chance. The duo came up with their moniker after realizing they lived on the same street in Burbank, California - Heffron Drive. After a short period Kendall joined Big Time Rush and Dustin played as the touring guitarist. They revived the project in 2013, after the last Big Time Rush show was completed.
  • Kendall explained the song's meaning: "It's about two people who are made for one another," he said. "They are always around each other, walking in parallel lines, but never seem to meet up. The song asks, what if one day, the stars finally align and their paths cross."

"I've always been a hopeless romantic and often wonder if I have already met the person I'm going to end up with," Kendall added.
