  • Henry Priestman is a British rock singer and producer who started off his music career in the late '70s as a member of the band The Yachts. In the 1980s he played keyboards on tours and sessions with many of the bands that came out of Liverpool in the early 1980s such as Echo And The Bunnymen, The Lightning Seeds and The Mighty Wah! Priestman told The Daily Telegraph March 25, 2009: "We all still see each other. There's probably simmering jealousies and tensions, but I'm from Hull, so even when they're not talking to each other, they still talk to me. It's just 'Get Henry to play keys, he's alright.'" In the late 1980s and early 1990s Priestman was the keyboard player and principle songwriter in The Christians. Among the hits he wrote for them were 'Forgotten Town', 'Hooverville' and 'Ideal World'. In 2003 Priestman produced Mark Owen's second solo album In Your Own Time.
