Songfacts®:

  • This song recalls good times in the burgeoning Madrid rock scene where Hinds find themselves regularly hanging out with other Spanish rock acts such as The Parrots and Los Nastys. Bassist Ade Martin explained to the BBC: "The Madrid lifestyle on the streets really helps for people to come together and drink, talk and do stuff."

Vocalist/guitarist Ana Perrote added: "It's not like you're writing songs on computers because you're so cold and staying at home to do music. For us it's like; 'It's a nice day, shall we meet? Do you wanna jam?"
  • This took a long time to get right. Ana Perrote explained to HMV.com: "We couldn't get the drums right and we took out the guitar solo and put it back in. We threw away a lot of music for that song, we stripped it back. Getting it right was a nightmare."
