Songfacts®:

  • J-Dog explained the background to this electro-punk tune: "We wanted to write a rock song, and there was this concept of gravity," he said. "It's something that holds you down. We talked about reminiscing on the past and how people can get stuck on that. That's what the song discusses."

"Everything flowed," added Charlie Scene. "No one was trying to overthink anything. It's one of those songs we knew we wanted to hear."
  • Gravity, is of course, the force which causes objects to fall onto the ground. Here are some gravity fun facts:

Due to earth's gravity it is impossible for mountains to be higher than 49,000 feet (15,000 metres).

Astronauts can't cry in space as there's no gravity.

Humans are unable to burp in zero gravity environments.

Large parts of Canada, particularly the Hudson Bay region, are "missing" gravity. In other words, gravity in the Hudson Bay area and surrounding regions is lower than it is in other parts of the world. Scientists are baffled as to why.
