Jodi Arias Rap

Album: not on an album (2013)

Songfacts®:

  • Rap and murder are not exactly strangers, but this is not your usual rap number. Written by a 71-year-old Jewish grandfather, Howard Baer, with a little help (with the beat) from a man who looks like an authentic rap star who also supplied the vocals.

Profanity aside, the one controversial part of the song is the claim that Alexander was shot with his own gun, a gun that was actually stolen by Arias during a burglary she staged on the California home of her grandmother, with whom she had been living. Having said that, as the victim was stabbed nearly 30 times and his head near hacked off, the bullet in his skull was academic.

Baer said he would donate any profits from the downloads to a fund for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, having lived some two blocks from where this bomb exploded in April 2013. >>>
