Songfacts®:

  • This electro screamer is one of I See Stars most popular songs. While it sounds like it might be making a trenchant argument about free expression, it's actually simpler than that. The group's frontman, Devin Oliver, wrote the song when he was 17, inspired by the reckless antics of his crew. "It's about rebelling," he said in his Songfacts interview. "No matter what level of rebellion it is, it's just about rebelling against your parents or against the world."
  • Frankie Nasso wrote and produced the video along with Ash Avildsen, the founder of the band's label, Sumerian Records. The video follows a storyline where the government has taken control of the internet, and the masses are rebelling. The band leads the rebellion, wearing Guy Fawkes as seen in the 2006 film V for Vendetta.
