Songfacts®:

  • Ingram originally recorded this track on his 1999 studio album, Hey You. The newly recorded version for Big Dreams & High Hopes features guest vocals from Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser, James Otto and members of Little Big Town and The Lost Trailers. A radio edit of the same song, featuring only Ingram and Bentley, was issued as the fifth single from the album. The two country stars also performed the tune together on the ACM Awards.
  • Ingram discussed bringing the song back around with Entertainment Weekly: "It's a smart little funny, smart-ass, well-written song. And it's me. It's what I've been doing for 15 years. So with any luck, people will dig it, and if nothing else it's another 15 million people who are gonna go, 'Oh! Who's that dude?' Or if they knew me, and didn't know me, they can go, 'Oh, wow! I didn't know he did that.'"
Ingram added that the song's turned from a "s–talkin' song to a laughin' at her/with her song."
  • This is an entirely different song to Danish pop group Aqua's much-maligned hit single Barbie Girl.
