  • Odenton, Maryland native Jackson Dean began his music career in his late teens. Commuting into Nashville on Monday mornings, Jackson wrote songs throughout the week before flying back to Maryland on Thursday nights to gig in his local bars. After opening for the likes of Kane Brown, Jake Owen, and Brothers Osborne, Jackson caught the attention of Nashville's Big Machine Records and signed for them in 2021. This stomping, guitar-streaked tune is the lead single from his debut album, Greenbroke.
  • "Don't Come Lookin'" is an uptempo song about getting away, following your path, and relishing the freedom of the road.

    So long, four wheels turning
Got a tank full of gas, down the road, I'm burning
    Can't say I would and I can't say I wouldn't
If I don't come back, don't come lookin'

The singer is a free-spirit. No matter where he ends up, he doesn't want to be found. "It's that idea of getting off by yourself, that 'If I don't come back, don't come lookin' feeling of getting gone and not wanting anyone getting in your way," said Jackson. "I think everyone's wanted that kind of escape or freedom. I figured it'd make a good song for anyone who's ever been there."
  • Dean co-wrote this ode to the wandering lifestyle with Luke Dick. The Nashville songwriter is known for his work with other freewheeling country artists such as Miranda Lambert and Eric Church. "We didn't really have a title and were just in a block for two hours at his studio, just smoking and thinking," Dean told Billboard of the writing session for "Don't Come Lookin'." "We had that big thumpin' vibe and I kind of mumbled something under my breath that I used to say to my mom, 'If I don't come back, don't come looking.' And he whipped his head around and said, 'That's what we're writing today.' But it was just something I would tell my mom if I was running off in the woods for a day or so. She'd say, 'Stay alive no matter what occurs,' and I'd say that. It was just a little shot at each other for a while, and it became a radio song."
  • "Don't Come Lookin'" featured in Season 4 Episode 7 of the Paramount Network TV series Yellowstone.
