  • This Chris DeStefano, Ashley Gorley and Shane McAnally written mournful cut paints a clear picture of heartbreak. It was the first song that Jake Owen recorded for Days Of Gold. He told Radio.com: "It was just because when I heard it, it's infectious. The way that the verse runs into the chorus, and then the chorus runs into this post-chorus. It's kinda like it never stops. Making an album, it's important to have songs that melodically make people not forget them, but also inspire you to sing along."
  • The music video is the third installment in a trilogy that includes "Days Of Gold" and "Beachin'." The couple who fell in love in the first two clips has now broken up, and the boyfriend struggles with painful memories of his ex. "We liked the idea of ending on an unexpected yet maybe realistic note, after expecting throughout the trilogy that they're going to stay together," director Mason Dixon told Songfacts. "Even in 'Ghost Town' we faked the reunion. We made you think that they were in the end going to be back together and then it was all this premonition/memory kind of thing. We liked that because it was a little different and unique and not something you were expecting. But, of course, if you see that very last shot, he's going back to Florida so you assume that it ends happily, we just don't see it."
