Songfacts®:

  • This bubbly song from the Redondo Beach, California singer-songwriter Jayme Dee finds her crazy in love all the way to the tips of her toes. Dee gained internet fame with popular acoustic covers of songs like "Toxic" and "Fix You," which she posted on YouTube. After signing with Universal Republic Records, she released some of her original songs, including "Tip Toes," "Love Whiplash" and "Rules" (which was on the Hunger Games soundtrack).

In our interview with Jayme Dee, she explained, "'Tip Toes' was one of those songs I wrote in a few hours. It just felt right and was so easy and organic to write and record. I went in the studio a few days later to cut the song, and it turned out awesome."
