  • This J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced track features a contribution from R&B singer-songwriter Jill Scott. "I was put onto Jill while sitting in Las Vegas kicking it with Beyoncé at the pool," Jeezy told Billboard magazine's The Juice. "We did a couple of attempts, then Jill's like, 'Let me write something.' She wrote, sent it back and I loved it. The song is basically my life story... my whole description of what I've been through in two verses, with her bridge."
  • Jezzy's parents separated when he was young and he was brought up his mom and other family members in Atlanta. The rapper told The Boombox this song means a lot to him as it reflects how far he's come from those difficult early days: "I haven't let my mother hear the song yet, but I'm quite sure when she hears it, she'll come to tears because a lot of that s--t she remembers but she probably don't think I remember 'cause I was so young. But my mother is my strength at times, 'cause things were so hard on her and it made me go harder. I felt like I was trapped and had no way out and I just had to find my way through the maze and I felt like, I did it for us. I couldn't see my mother struggle anymore so I had to do everything in my power to take it there."
