Songfacts®:

  • American R&B singer Jeremih and Canadian artist Drake share vocals on this sultry Noah "40" Shebib produced track. The song was originally recorded by Drake for a projected R&B mixtape titled It's Never Enough. However after the success of his debut studio album, Thank Me Later that project was put on hold as Drake wanted to focus on his sophomore long player and the song was given to Jeremih.
  • Drake originally penned this as a tribute to TLC's "Fanmail," which was the title track of the R&B trio's 1999 CD.
