The song was produced by John Fields and co-written by James Michael with Jessie James. James Michael is a record producer and songwriter who has worked with a wide variety of recording artists including Alanis Morissette, Meat Loaf, Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, Hilary Duff, and Papa Roach. Among his song-writing credits is "Los Angeloser," which is one of a number of songs he has penned for Meat Loaf.
