Songfacts®:

  • Here, Jhené Aiko declares to her "whack" boyfriend that she's "back on my BS." What the songstress is saying is she's had enough of his unpleasant ways and is done dealing with him. She's now gone back to doing her own thing.
  • H.E.R. comes in halfway through the song with her own verse in which she radiates a similar energy, slamming her own lover. She tells the dude, "I'm out here, I'm getting stupid, I'm done being exclusive."

Though her ex deserved what is coming to him, H.E.R.'s own behavior seems hot-headed. Now that she's back on her "B.S." she's considering hooking up with his roommate.
  • Aiko's former boyfriend, Big Sean, helped the two singers write the song. The rapper also contributed to another Chilombo track, "None of Your Concern," where both artists reflect on moving on from their relationship.
  • Aiko's longtime collaborators Fisticuff (Mac Robinson and Brian Warfield) supplied the production. The duo also supplied the beat for 10 of the Chilombo tracks, including "Triggered (Freestyle)" and "None of Your Concern."
