  • When Jin debuted "Don't Say You Love Me" on the May 21, 2025 episode of The Tonight Show, he told host Jimmy Fallon: "When you're in love sometimes you know that it's time to leave, but you can't bring yourself to do it. The song is about that emotion. So it's sad, but it's also bittersweet."
  • The song was co-written and produced by Nathan "Tiggs" Fertig (Alec Benjamin's "I Built A Friend," Tate McRae's "Kids Are Alright") and Wyatt Sanders, whose credits range from Diplo to Enhypen.
