Songfacts®:

  • Not to be confused with the much later Solange release of the same name, "Losing You" is the opening track on the 1985 Rescue You album, and was co-written with keyboard player Alan Greenwood. When he introduced this at a concert in Denver the same year, Turner said it was about a girl who walked out on him, shouting "Look at me now!"
  • "Losing You" was an obvious single but was released on the Elektra label as a promo only; it runs to 3 minutes 48 seconds. >>>
