Songfacts®:

  • Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry wrote this song for his wife, Billie, as a present for their 10th wedding anniversary. "I was totally at a loss for something to buy her, so I sat down and I wrote the song," Perry said in our interview. "That was probably the best gift I could have given her."
  • Perry wrote this song in 1995 after an Aerosmith writing session. He didn't record it until a decade later, which he used it for his self-titled album. This was the first album credited to just him; he had released four previous albums with his band The Joe Perry Project.
