Songfacts®:

  • Here, Joel Corry teams up with singer-songwriter Caity Baser for a dance banger. It marks the first collaboration between the DJ and "Pretty Boys" songstress.
  • Caity Baser offers a simple yet effective solution for those of us who feel drained by the daily grind: keep moving on the dance floor until everything feels sorted out. She bids farewell to bad vibes by letting the rhythm and movement do the talking.

"My boy Joel smashed it making the track, and the lyrics are true to my actual life," said Baser. "Anyone that knows me knows I basically spend all my time dancing around. So this is about escaping daily life and losing your s--t, forgetting about everything else."
  • Corry and Baser co-wrote "Dance Around It" with Punctual, an electronic music duo comprising Will Lansley and John Morgan.

In 2020, Punctual inked a deal with Polydor after releasing one-off singles or EPs with Juicebox, Electronic Nature, and RCA. Additionally, they secured a contract with B-Unique Music Publishing that same year. Since then, they have produced and written with the likes of Jason Derulo ("Acapulco"), Raye ("Black Mascara"), Nathan Dawe ("21 Reasons" and "Oh Baby") and Switch Disco ("React").
