  • "Little Things" is set in a club where Jorja Smith is enjoying the chilled vibes. She feels a pull towards someone she has met before, someone with whom she shares a powerful physical connection.

I didn't know that you'd be here tonight
Saw you again, think this must be a sign
Nothing you said, it was all in your eyes
Can I get close, even for just one time?

Smith takes the lead in pursuing this romantic conquest, ready to seize the opportunity and make her intentions known.
  • It is the allure of "the little things" about Smith's love interest that sets her heart ablaze, leaving her utterly smitten.

It's the little things that gets me high
Won't you come with me and spend the night
Just a little thing for you and I
And if it's meant to be then that's alright

Smith invites the dude to embark on a nocturnal adventure with her.
  • Smith wrote the soulful and upbeat party jam in the studio with Barbara Boko, Edith Nelson, Maverick Sabre, New Machine and P2J after downing a rum, ting and magnum cocktail. As the UK garage beat from P2J and New Machine's song filled the studio, Smith imagined herself walking into a party. She could see the lights, the people, and the music, and she could feel the excitement in the air. She scanned the room, looking for someone, and then she saw him. He was standing across the room, talking to a group of friends. She couldn't take her eyes off him.

"It wasn't really to anyone in particular, I was just creating a story like this was happening," Smith told BBC Radio 1's Clara Amfo. "Literally you walk in and someone will let you know when the light whatever, whether it's green, red, blue, is like shining on that person there," she added. "They've got a little spotlight on them. And that's kind of what I envision."
  • Photographer Bolade Banjo takes the directorial reins for the music video, which includes a cameo by rapper Headie One. Amidst the vibrant energy of a house party, a couple's blossoming romance unfolds. The music is loud, the lights are flashing, and the dance floor is packed. But in the midst of all the chaos, there is one couple completely lost in each other. In addition to the storyline, the clip also includes interviews with partygoers, offering intriguing insights into what they find attractive in others.

"The lyrics and instrumental were very much dedicated to the direction of the video, it was about finding the stylistic language that made sense," said Banjo. "Speaking with Jorja about how she wanted to approach this it became apparent; 'Little Things' was within itself."
