  • Singer-songwriter Josh Record hails from Stroud, Gloucestershire in South England. This is the title track from his 2013 self-produced EP The War.

    The song received critical acclaim and BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe made it his "Hottest Record of 2013." Record told The Sun. "I've never just sat down to write a song for the sake of it – I normally write when I'm an absolute wreck."

    "The first song I ever put out was called 'The War.' Zane Lowe then downloaded it off YouTube and played it on Radio 1. It was kinda illegal but I like it!"

    Record also included the track on his 2014 debut album, Pillars.
