Cup Of Tea Song

Songfacts®:

  • This is not a latter day version of "Everything Stops For Tea," nor an alternative to "The Coffee Song," but a lament for lost youth. We've all had days like this, but the phrase "I feel like life has poured a cold cup of tea on my head," well, it ain't Shakespeare, though sadly it sounds like this has not been the most transient of passing phases for the lady.

Released on Big Moon Records, this semi-acoustic track was co-written by Ben Mark, and is saved from total obscurity by a half-decent melody. >>>
