Songfacts®:

  • Here, Juice WRLD raps about his two addictions, drugs and love.

I'm a druggie, so can you hide my drugs from me?
And when I get lonely can you be my company?

Juice WRLD died at 21 on December 8, 2019 following an accidental overdose of oxycodone and codeine. His label dropped "Tell Me U Luv Me" on May 29, 2020 as the rapper's second posthumous single. The song's release date coincided with the birthday of Juice's girlfriend, Ally Lotti, hinting that the Chicago rapper originally made the track for her.
  • Trippie Redd sings the track's chorus. He and Juice were good friends and collaborated on several previous occasions, including 2018's "1400 / 999 Freestyle" and 2019's "6 Kiss," which featured on Redd's A Love Letter to You 3 and A Love Letter to You 4 mixtapes, respectively.
  • The Cole Bennett-directed music video features shots from Juice's past shows and music videos plus old footage of the late rapper with Ali Lotti.
