• Junior Andre is the son of singer Peter Andre and media personality Katie Price. After signing a deal with Columbia Records in August 2021, he released "Slide" as his debut single on June 17, 2022. It immediately shot to the top of the UK iTunes charts.

  Andre sings about finding a girl who appears made for him, where even the negative became positives. "'Slide' is about finding a girl who is good for you," said the singer. "Someone I can rely on. You're willing to take the risk for her because she's different, but at the same time she doesn't know exactly what she wants."
• That's producer-guitarist Luke Grieve behind the boards. He's also worked with Dave and Stormzy ("Clash") and Tion Wayne ("4Life").
• Rosie Matheson directed the video, which shows Junior partying and shopping with his mates. "I want my friends and family involved as much as possible," he told The Line Of Best Fit. "I'm very much a group person, I don't like doing things alone – and I want them to be included. The least I could do is get them in my video."
  
  Matheson's previous credits include the clip for "Flowers (Say My Name)" by Junior's friend ArrDee.
