  • One touch and you got me stoned
    Higher than I've ever known
You call the shots and I follow

Justin Bieber's model wife Hailey Baldwin has been his songwriting muse since their marriage in 2018, and much of his Justice album is focused on his love for her. This acoustic guitar ballad finds him comparing being madly in love with being high or drunk.
  • Bieber told The Sun about the song: "It's playing off being in a bit of a mess over someone. I'm off my face in love with you. I know most us have felt that."
  • Justin Bieber wrote the song with:

American songwriter Tia Scola, whose other credits include Sabrina Carpenter's "Skin" and Ava Max' "My Head & My Heart."

Australian pop/electronica duo Dreamlab. They have also produced songs for Selena Gomez, ("Like A Champion"), Fifth Harmony ("Messy"), and Katy Perry ("Never Really Over").

LA songwriter/producer Jake Torrey, who is best known for working with K Pop acts such as BTS ("The Truth Untold") and Monsta X ("Who Do U Love").

Dreamlab and Jake Torrey also produced the song.
