Songfacts®:

  • During "All Mine" Kanye West explores infidelity, groupies (thots) and why celebrities cheat on their spouses. He calls out basketball player Tristan Thompson for cheating on his pregnant wife Khloe Kardashian (who is also Yeezy's sister-in-law).

All these thots on Christian Mingle
    Almost what got Tristan single
If you don't ball like him or Kobe
Guarantee that bitch gonna leave you

Kanye points out that because people like Thompson and Kobe Bryant (another basketball superstar caught cheating his wife ) are rich and famous sportsman they seem to get away with being unfaithful to their spouses. Us mere mortals might not be so lucky.
  • Kanye has his own designer deal with Adidas. During the third verse he uses some dirty talk to compare his loyalty to clothing company, by stating if he sees a beautiful woman wearing Adidas' trademark three stripes he might bag her up.
  • That's New Jersey native Ant Clemons on the hook. A friend and collaborator of Jeremih, Clemons wrote the chorus with the R&B singer.
  • Ty Dolla Sign raps the first half of the first verse. The California artist previously worked with Kanye on two tracks on his The Life of Pablo album – "Fade" and "Real Friends." He also contributed towards two other Ye tracks "Wouldn't Leave" and "Violent Crimes."
  • The track was initially going to be titled "Medulla Oblongata" – a component of the brain which is responsible for various functions including involuntary bodily functions, such as vomiting, sneezing, and swallowing. It is referenced in the chorus.

I'm a lose my mind in it
    Crazy, that medulla oblongata
  • Queens, New York rapper Consequence wrote the reference to supermodel Naomi Campbell and porn star Stormy Daniels. A cousin of the hip hop artist Q-Tip, Consequence is a longtime Kanye collaborators whose contributions date back to the Chicago rapper's 2004 debut The College Dropout.

    I could have Naomi Campbell
And still might want me a Stormy Daniels

Tying in the with song's lyrics about infidelity, Stormy Daniels caused a huge scandal when it was revealed that President Trump allegedly had an affair with her after he'd married Melania Trump.
