  • On this song an untrained chorus of children accompanies Orzolek.
  • This song featured on an advert aimed to combat obesity in American youngsters. The 'Did You Play Today?' commercial was sanctioned by the US Department Of Health And Human Services.
  • Orzolek's Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandmates Brian Chase and Nick Zinner, Deerhunters' Bradford Cox, Liars' Aaron Hemphill and Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence from the Raconteurs all contributed to the film's soundtrack. Orzolek told MTV News: "The first film footage we got was roughs before they even assembled. I had friends of mine from rock bands with me, and we'd watch the footage and we came up with the music for a really rough version of the film. It was a fairly unconventional way to do that."
  • Orzolek told Rolling Stone regarding the soundtrack: "My job was to come up with simple, childlike melodies reminiscent of hooks of great old pop songs that you can't shake."
