Songfacts®:

  • This song features Kasey Chambers singing a duet with another fellow Australian and country superstar, Keith Urban. It was the first time the two had collaborated together despite knowing each other for years.

The acoustic-centric track lyrically tells a story about what would happen if the pair had a baby together:

    If we had a child
People would come from far and near
Even strangers who never knew ya
    They'd be singing hallelujah
  • In our interview with Chambers, she explained why Urban best fit this tune. "I really wanted a very country male voice on this song and I've known Keith a long time so he was the perfect choice," she said. "I felt like it was the only way I would come close to 'having a child' with Keith, so it really wrote itself! Ha!"
