Songfacts®:

  • Nash told the NME January 16, 2010 that this song is "played on an old Spanish guitar, the first one my dad ever had."
  • The song was inspired by a short story by Japanese writer Yuzuki Muroi. Nash explained to The NME April 24, 2010: "It's about suicide and prostitution. I read a short story called Piss by this Japanese female writer, it's about a prostitute. The only person she trusted was a client who didn't want to have sex with her - all he wanted to do was for her to piss in a cup and he would drink it."
