  • "If It's Too Late" is a song from the musical flop Street Of Dreams which is based on the long-running soap opera Coronation Street. Like the rest of the songs in the show it has words and music by Trisha Ward. The song is a little unusual in that it is a duet between two versions of the same character: Becky McDonald.

    In the original soap, Becky was a fiery but short-lived temptress; she appeared in February 2006 as Becky Granger, captured the heart of the local pub landlord, Steve McDonald, married him, becoming his third wife (at the second attempt) but the marriage fell apart because she was too much for him to handle. Fortunately or otherwise, so was this musical. >>
