Songfacts®:

  • The first single released by Montana-raised Nashville-based singer-songwriter Kayla Adams is a revenge song. "It was inspired by an ex-boyfriend who had a bad habit of disappearing on weekends," she told The Boot of the tune.
  • The song's music video was directed by Yarrow Kraner, who has filmed projects for Virgin Atlantic, T-Mobile, Warner Brothers and Levi's. The visual was shot in her home state of Montana.

"It will be the first thing a lot of people see of me," Adams told The Boot. "It was important to me that they see where I'm from."
  • Adams said she had a hand in bringing the clip to life. "The video concept was definitely a team effort, sort of beginning with my personal vision and then majorly built upon by people who actually make videos," she explained. "The experience was a whole new one for me… It's definitely different performing to a camera instead of a crowd!"
