Songfacts®:

  • This is one of the songs that Keira Knightley sings in Begin Again, a movie in which she portrays Greta, the songwriting girlfriend of Adam Levine. The pair move to New York when he lands a deal with a major label.

Despite being married to Klaxons bassist James Righton, Knightley isn't interested in music herself. She told British magazine Hello! that one of the reasons why she took the part was to try to understand how music can affect people. "I don't know anything about music at all. I never really listen to it. If it's on in a room, I can't really hear it. I don't have that sort of brain," the British star admitted. "And that's another reason I was so interested in doing this film."

"I'm married to a musician, my best friends are completely obsessed with music, my brother was in bands - it completely surrounds me, but I really have to concentrate to pick it up," Knightley added. "If I'm really drunk, then I'll dance, but I won't know what I'm listening to."
