Songfacts®:

  • Pickler co-penned this track with Nashville songwriting star Dean Dillon and his sometimes songwriting partner Dale Dodson. She told The Boot that she was especially excited to write with Dillon as he and Dodson were responsible for one of her favorite ever songs - Lee Ann Womack's "Have You Seen That Girl?."

Said Pickler: "In the past five, ten years, that Call Me Crazy album is one of my favorite that's ever been released by a female. From front to back, every song on that record is amazing. I have ruined that CD, I've had to buy more than one copy, just playing the hell out of it. I adore Lee Ann and her work. To be able to write with someone who's written, I don't know how many songs, it's one of those things where you sit in a room and look at him and think, 'I hope that when I'm his age that there's someone sitting in the room with me, looking at me the way I'm looking at him.' That's what you aspire to be like as a writer."
