Songfacts®:

  • This sentimental song, which Kellie Pickler co-wrote with her husband Kyle Jacob, finds the singer recalling the holiday celebrations she spent growing up in North Carolina with her grandmother. "[It's] a Christmas song that we wrote back in July," Pickler told Rolling Stone Country. "My grandmother raised me and was the one I called 'Mom.' It's a sweet Christmas ballad about Christmas with her growing up."
