  • Mac MacAnally wrote this song and originally recorded it on his 1990 album Simple Life. The Mississippi singer-songwriter joined Kenny Chesney in a duet on this recording. Chesney explained in a press release: "This is one of those songs I've loved forever - and that really says everything about what we fall in love with, what we value… the things that matter, especially when building a future. Mac told me he wrote it one Christmas morning, waiting for his kids to wake up and open their presents and you can tell that's the kind of heart he writes with." MacAnally also wrote the Chesney concert favorite "Back Where I Come From."
  • Chesney told AOL that this song "has the same peace that I find on my boat."
  • When this duet arrived at #12 on the Hot Country Songs chart, it surpassed McAnally's previous career high of #14 in 1990 with "Back Where I Come From." Several weeks later, the song climbed to #1, giving McNally his first chart-topper 19 years after his debut on the Hot Country Songs tally. However, this was not a record wait for an artist to have their first country #1 hit: Jimmy Buffett made his initial chart appearance in 1973, and he finally made it the top over 30 years later when his duet with Alan Jackson, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," spent eight weeks at #1.
