Songfacts®:

  • This is a track by American R&B singer Keri Hilson, from her second studio album, No Boys Allowed. The song was produced by Bei Maejor and Boi-1da and features rapper Lil' Kim.
  • Hilson said regarding the song in an interview with The Boombox: "I wanted to talk about how it's not cool to mooch off your woman. It's not manly, it's very boy-like. I don't want to take care of my man. I do buy my own things. You are doing nothing for me, you are taking from me and that's not a good situation. Buy you a phone, buy you a car. It's like saying, 'Come correct or don't come at all.'"
  • Boi-1da told Vibe magazine about his contribution to this cut and explained its meaning: "I love that song. Keri killed it, my boy Bei Major co-wrote and co-produced it as well. I was in the studio with Keri while she recorded her part. I remember, Polow Da Don also came and put his stamp of approval on it. But Keri came up with the whole concept and really it just followed the theme of her album. Bei Major and I kind of tried to picture the process of a chick going out with a broke dude [laughs]—all things that would tick her off. It's song that's really about female frustration. I think a lot of women can relate to that, any of them who have dated a broke ass guy in her life."
