Songfacts®:

  • The fourth single from American R&B singer-songwriter Keri Hilson's second studio album, No Boys Allowed, finds the singer instantly attracted to a guy whilst clubbing. Keri tells the man that she can tell by the way he moves, that he's the one for him and she desires to "Lose Control," "clothes, shake wind and roll" with him. However, the singer eventually gets let down when she finds out he's a different man to the one she thought he was.
  • The song was co-written and produced by Norwegian production team StarGate and features American rapper Nelly spitting a sexually charged verse. R&B songwriter Ester Dean (Rihanna's "Rude Boy," "What's My Name?," Katy Perry's "Firework") also bags a writing credit on the track.
  • The song's music video was directed by Colin Tilley, who previously helmed the clips for "One Night Stand" featuring Chris Brown and "In The Air," her collaboration with UK rapper Chipmunk.
