Songfacts®:

  • This track features Kid Rock's fellow Detroit rocker Bob Seger on piano and singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow on co-vocals. Rock recalled to Adam Graham of The Detroit News concerning Seger's contribution. "I asked him to be on the track and he didn't call me back. I started getting really nervous, and then a couple days later he showed up at the studio, by himself. I said, 'Bob, why didn't you call? I didn't think you were going to do it!' He said, 'I was practicing.'"
  • Crow and Rock previously collaborated on the latter's 2002 hit single "Picture."
