He recounted to Q magazine that the song features the sound of him "playing a Perrier bottle with my wedding ring" as producer Markus Dravs taped layers of percussion to create a carnival atmosphere.
  • "Around The World"' was first previewed when the Kings Of Leon played it live on the September 13, 2016 episode of BBC2's Later With Jools Holland.
