  • In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Caleb Followill told the story behind this song: "When we were making Because Of The Times, we had just bought land in Tennessee with this old farmhouse. We would set up our amps on the front porch, so there were these wide open spaces. From that , we started to play with reverb and more grandiose sounds. It's the simplest song we've ever written; I sing the same thing over and over."

  • Marcus from Columbia, Mothe album this song's off of, because of the times, was rated so low compared to youth and young manhood and only by the night. i thought the album was a big hit and bridged youth and only by the night.
  • Nady from Adelaide, Australiathe bass in this song is amazing. it makes the song.
  • Mike from Timaru, New ZealandThe last part of your comment, in context says "I'm gun brawl, so be there, one for all, so be there, and when they fall to pieces, lord you know I'll be there laughing".

He's stating how when push comes to shove he'll be there to defend those clostest to him and will be laughing at the fall of those who try to attack and hurt them, not as you state, laughing as the person hes singing about being there for, fall's indignantly

'Im gun brawl', gun is a shortened version of going to, notthing to do with a gun. Just thought Id let you know before you write saying that the songs about AK-47s
