  • Klymaxx was the first all-girl funk group to play their own instruments. This synth-heavy song finds lead singer Lorena Porter singing about how she wants a real man to satisfy her. It didn't come from personal experience - the song was written by a man, Rod Temperton, who wrote many of Michael Jackson's songs and as well as another hit from the movie: "Sweet Freedom."
