Songfacts®:

  • This is about the anxiety Jon Davis developed while touring. He became agoraphobic and had trouble even stepping off the tour bus.
  • This track is kind of strange. It's a short interlude with Jon singing. On one side it has the track playing normally and on the other side is the same track playing backwards at the same time. If you listen closely you can hear it. >>>

  • Zero from The Abyss, NjLyrics:

    Am I going crazy?
    Am I insane and dazed?
Am I too lost to face this
and what will it cost to escape?

    Nothing is right.
    I am so scared...
  • Jake from Houston, Txdanielle, that illness never goes away, but is controlled by medication and therapy.
  • Jake from Houston, TxIt is scary because when played forward you can barley make you him saying "It's the same thing", and it is clearer backwards. It is like they know you are going to play it backwards.

I think it was a song mainly put in to mess with the fans. Although he did get a little crazy when hearing about the girl that was raped. (see facts for "Pretty")
  • Danielle from NorthumberlandAm I Going Crazy... I dont this song wasn't just about the anxiety Davis devolped when touring. I think it was also about the schizophrenic symptoms he developed in his younger years too. please correct me if I'm wong
  • Joseph from La, CaFirst time I heard it, I was knida freaked out lol. Whats interesting is that when you play it backwards (Yes I know it's the same guitar tracks only one played backwards) it hardly soudns different, even the singing.
