When Jonathan Davis sings at the beginning of the song, "Your messiah was never mine," he tells us that religion changes and now, the church uses the so-called messiah to take money from people. In the second verse, "Little old lady at home writing out a check to send, it's all the money that she owns," it tells that the church prays on the elderly, since today, they are the ones who believe. Davis says the song is about "my total disgust with Christianity." >>>
