Songfacts®:

  • I ain't got no time for when I wake up, yeah

KSI is a man with fingers in many pies. One of the UK's top influencers, he is one of the most subscribed YouTubers in the world. Having written and produced comedy–rap songs for his YouTube channel in the early 2010s, he started taking his music seriously later in the decade and released his debut album, Dissimulation, in 2020. It took him less than 14 months to drop his second record, All Over the Place. KSI has even found time to take part in several boxing fights, including a professional one.

Unsurprisingly, KSI has an extremely busy schedule and here he talks about how busy he is from the moment he gets up in the morning.
  • Because of his fame and fortune, KSI continually encounters people who pretend to be his friends, but in reality just want to reap the fruits of his success

Believe me, I see through a lot of fake love, yeah
But I'ma let it go because it really ain't a thing to me, yeah
He can see right through these snakes and won't let them into his life
  • During the chorus, KSI employs a really high-pitched singing style, which he borrowed from Atlanta rapper 645AR.
  • Lil Durk spits a guest verse where he flexes about how the luxurious lifestyle he now leads gives hope to his homies back home in Chicago.
  • English producer S-X and Brazilian-Egyptian rapper/producer Mally Mall supplied the beat with Diego Ave. S-X and Mally Mall also produced KSI's "Wake Up Call" single.
