Songfacts®:

  • Lanco's debut album takes its title from this gospel-fueled anthem. Lead singer Brandon Lancaster explained to ABC Radio the track is the culmination of the small-town experience that the entire record offers.

"That song kind of just encompasses the themes of the album," he said. "We just wanted this album to reflect who we are and our relationships and our circumstances, and the things we've gone through."

"But at the same time, still living in that moment, still looking around you and savoring all the moments that you're given, and knowing that these people that you're around and these moments that you're given... one day they'll just be memories," Lancaster added. "And they go by way too fast."
