  • A comical track from Bundy's debut album, the stage actress turned Country singer told us about the song. Said Bundy: "Larson Paine, who produced that record with me, we wrote a lot of the songs together. But he had already written it probably 20 years ago. And I thought, This is hilarious. I love it. In fact, I want to redo it. But there was something about the ending I just didn't think was sharp enough. It didn't pack enough punch, it wasn't funny. And so I re-wrote the end of it. 'Went to the mini mart on the way home, how was I to know it was a tow away zone? He's in the trunk.' That was me going, We need a punch line. We've set up this great, amazing opportunity to be really funny here at the end, and we haven't done it.

Interestingly enough, when I did that record and I decided I wanted to move to Nashville, and that's all that I had done to play for them, they immediately got that I have a sense of humor. And I happen to like the old school stuff." (Read more in our interview with Laura Bell Bundy.)
