Songfacts®:

  • Lennon Stella first came to prominence at the age of 12 playing Maddie Conrad on the musical drama Nashville. She spent six years on the show before signing a record deal with RECORDS and Columbia Records. Following hit collaborations with Jonas Blue ("Polaroid") and Chainsmokers ("Takeaway"), she released her debut album Three. Two. One on April 24, 2020.
  • This hookup with JP Saxe of "If the World Was Ending" fame originated from a conversation they had about monogamy. Stella explained to The Sun the pair were talking about how they are both happy in monogamous relationships, but some of their friends have found polyamory works for them. The singer commented: "I don't really get it but some people watch golf on TV and I don't get that either."

They thought that was a cool song title and ran with it.
