Songfacts®:

  • Lenny Kravitz spoke to Spinner regarding the love revolution theme of the album: "From day one, I've always said 'let love rule,' and love has always been a central theme on my albums whether it's person to person, social - whatever. But I feel like it's time to take that to the next step - to be more hardcore. That sounds funny in reference to love, but the world is such a negative place and there's war in every corner. There's people dying everywhere and there's no understanding between people and countries. It's time to really get people to join together in the name of love, period."
  • This was used in the 2008 romantic comedy Made Of Honor, starring Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan.
