Songfacts®:

  • Lil Pump raps on this energetic boastful track about his love for drugs, designer clothing, luxury cars, and girls. He namechecks a number of brands including Actavis, Porsche, Skype, Rolls Royce Wraith, 24 Hour Fitness, and Patek watches.

    Only wear designer, esskeetit
    Hoppin' out the Wraith, esskeetit
    Smashin' on your bitch, esskeetit
Runnin' up a check with no limit

The song's title "Esskeetit," is a slurred pronunciation of the exclamation, "let's get it."
  • Lil Pump created the bouncy beat himself along with frequent collaborator CBMIX. The song is Pump's first self-produced track.

"We ran out of beats, basically, and I was like, 'Pump, we should start making our own beats,'" CBMIX explained to Genius. "The first beat we made ended up being 'ESSKEETIT' and the rest is history."

"The beat is really simple," he added. "There's really only seven sounds in it. Basically very stock FruityLoops sounds. I didn't have much installed on this computer. The main sound, it's a bass sound in the stock Nexus banks."
  • The song's music video was directed by Pump himself along with Ben Griffin. One of the scenes features the rapper sitting atop a sculpted ice throne with a wolf on a leash. Griffin told Genius it was shot on a real ice sculpture. "We have a company that does ice sculptures," he said. "They bring it there and they're like, 'You got about 4-6 hours before this thing melts.'"
