Songfacts®:

  • This is the first single by Lil Wayne from his I Am Not A Human Being Pt. 2 album. StreetRunner and Sarom produced the song.

Nicholas Warwar, better known as StreetRunner, is a Miami-based record producer and DJ. He first gained recognition in 2004 for producing Terror Squad's hit single, "Take Me Home". More recently he has gained fame for his work with Lil Wayne, which includes his Drake collaboration, "With You."

Raymond "Sarom" Diaz, like StreetRunner, is from Spliffington Management and they often work together. Amongst their jointly-produced cuts are Nicki Minaj's "Roman In Moscow" and Royce da 5'9's "Writer's Block."
  • The song features a contribution from G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean. It's basically a re-imagining of Sean's "Dance (A$$)" single as it utilizes the same "go stupid" hook and both cuts have a similar beat.
  • This Wayne and Sean collaboration was a surprise as at the time the song was first heard there was beef between the G.O.O.D. Music and the Young Money camps. Only a few days previously, the New Orleans native had dropped "Goulish" in retaliation to Pusha T's diss track "Exodus 23:1," and, by association, the entire G.O.O.D. Music roster. Young Money president Mack Maine explained to MTV News any potential conflict excluded Sean. "That was a great song that was made before that situation happened," he said. "I'm not 'bout to go into the studio and tell Wayne to take [Big Sean] off. Wayne not tryna take him off – he's good peeps, he's fam."
